• A 2 Inputs, 5 outputs crossover.

• A high number of facilities are available including delays, routing, parametric eq, compression, expansion and limiting.

• Delays can be set up to 1300msec. The delays can be displayed in feet, metres, milliseconds or microseconds.

• Phase can be changed on each band. Any setting between 0 to 360 degrees is available in 5 degree intervals.

• 3 Filter types are available; Bessel, Butterworth or Linkwitz-Riley. Filter slopes can be set at 12, 18, 24, 36 or 48dB per octave.

• External comms allow control of several units from one computer and also make programming considerably easier.

• Can also be used as a very high quality distribution amplifier.
  

These are accurate and reliable processors, equally at home in monitor or front of house racks. Although not as simple to use as the Omnidrives, by a long way, they actually have more facilities. As with the Omnidrives we have several standard configurations already stored but can add others if requested. We have the module (LBB-485) and software to connect DN8000's to a laptop which can make adjustments easier, especially if the controller is out of reach in a distant delay tower perhaps. All of our bi-amped monitors use DN8000 units as controllers and they have given us a noticeable difference in quality and control giving us monitor systems that quite often require minimal if any additional eq.
