BSS FDS-388 Omnidrive

Features

• 2 inputs, each with up to 4 outputs available.

• In addition to straight forward crossover settings each frequency band has 2 parametric equalisers, limiter, delay and phase optoins.

• When used in stereo mode it is possible to set the subs as mono to gain the coupling advantage that often results.

• Delays can be set up to 650msec. The delays can be displayed in feet, metres or milliseconds.

• Phase can be changed on each band. Any setting between 0 to 360 degrees is available.

• 3 Filter types are available; Bessel, Butterworth or Linkwitz-Riley. Filter slopes can be set at 12, 18 or 24dB per octave.

• All audio inputs and outputs are on XLR connectors.
  

The sound quality of the all the Omnidrive series would be difficult to surpass, we choose to use the larger fds-388 version over the Compact series for its exceptional ease of use. All of its extensive features are easily accessible from the front panel making it ideal for use as a front of house controller. The 60 user memories allow us to store a variety of configurations suitable for use with different systems and in different environments. We can supply units pre-programmed for your system to save you valuable set up time if required. The global delay facility on the Omnidrives makes it particularly useful for use on delay stacks, up to 650ms which is equivalent to over 200m.
